Imagine you two shaking hands, hugging, or having a sign of completion. When you can forgive and feel forgiven, you have reclaimed the energy leakage that happens when people harbor and suppress negative feelings. It takes so much energy to hold down unprocessed emotions. This is a way to transform that and take one step closer to wholeness and freedom.

When I have shown up in a way that isn’t in alignment with my highest and best self, I own it as soon as possible. For example, one morning, I was feeling stressed with so many things piling up on my To Do list, I inadvertently took it out on my five-year-old daughter. I was snappy and cranky. When I was able to catch myself, I immediately came down to my child’s eye level and used this forgiveness process to regain a safe space for her. It served our relationship on so many levels. First, it showed that I am not perfect and that I am willingly working on it by taking responsibility for myself. I didn’t judge or shame myself. I simply owned it and took positive action to rectify it. The bonus to this is she will learn that she doesn’t have to be perfect either. She will learn to value self-awareness and the persistence to always get back up and try again. Second, it demonstrates healthy communication and how to use the process. Lastly, the four steps allow us to authentically resolve the discord energetically and emotionally so no one feels the need to harbor negative feelings of being hurt or feeling guilty. It instantly transforms the situation and the people involved. We were both free to return to the safe space of love.

It has been shown that the heart’s magnetic field radiates outside the body and can affect others. Whether you are in the midst of witnessing your child’s emotional breakdown or a challenge with your coworker, you have the intangible power to affect the situation. First, slow down your breathing. Next, imagine breathing universal unconditional love in through your soul into your heart space. Then, slowly exhale that unconditional love from your heart and out into the situation or the person’s space. Continue this until you begin to feel a shift. It is subtle. Just as you can’t see the wind, you can certainly witness the aftermath of what it can do in a powerful storm. You hold the invisible power of unconditional love and can harness it through intentional thought and breath. The next time you are in the position of coaching your child through a challenging moment, use this intentional form of breathing to attune and adjust the vibratory frequency of her space. She will feel the waves of loving kindness and non-judgmental acceptance emanating from your being. This creates the environment supportive of her transformation.

The human body is amazing! Doing all that you can to keep it healthy and vibrating high will offer an existence of overall wellness and good feelings. Have you
